What Is The Process To Bid on a Property
The auction procedure is not the same as a regular auction that when the hammer falls you are committed to the purchase.
Buying a property is a major purchase and various checks are crucial as well as viewing arrangements, all this can take time and cannot be concluded at the fall of a hammer. At any time during the auction you can contact the vendor regarding viewing arrangements.
As with regular auctions the highest bidder wins, the winner is contacted by the vendor to confirm the offer and give the details of the lawyer who is conducting the sale who will advise of the financial arrangements and time scale to move the sale forward.
When Can I View The Property?
You can arrange viewing with the vendor or vendors agent at anytime during the auction at a suitable date/time for both parties.

How Do I know The Vendor & Property Are Genuine?
Before a vendor can submit a property on the platform they must provide a "Nota Simple", this is the legal Spanish document which includes the current owner, any debts which may be outstanding on the property as well as other details. More about the "Nota Simple" here
Can I Bid Without Viewing?
Yes you can bid without viewing but we recommend you arrange viewing as soon as possible and NOT to buy without viewing.
Can I Make An Offer To The Vendor?
Yes you are able to make an offer on the property for the vendors consideration but please bear in mind that the price will already be discounted.
Is It Safe To Buy In This Way?
All financial transactions should be done through both the vendors and buyers respective lawyers just as it is in a normal property sale.
Can I Retract A Bid?
Yes you can retract a bid or offer up to the point when you transfer the deposit to the vendors lawyer. At this time It becomes legally binding.
